Why is there bad odor?
It is an interesting question even since men started
wearing shoes. People have never paid real attention to this. This
problem is solved after Poliyou is invented. Main causes for odor
include:
- Micro-organisms:
Micro-organisms appear in moist and warm environment and
proliferate rapidly. The more they grow, the worse it smells.
- Lactate in perspiration:
Lactate produces stinky odor in a short time in closed and warm
environment.
- Material used as foot bed:
physical structure of the material is an important factor for the
odor. Chemical structure is another. For instance, rubble produces
more odor than EVA.
- Vamp material:
Synthetic leather is more likely to produce odor than genuine
leather due to its poor ventilation.
- Incorrect application of foot bed:
Like covered, the foot bed should be washed or sterilized under
the sun in a certain time to eliminate micro-organisms.
